At the heart of the resort, bartenders Big Joe and Evi craft expertly mixed cocktails with flair and charm, while Maria and the sundowner staff provided impeccable service with genuine smiles, creating the perfect ambiance for relaxation.
Dining at the resort was a delight thanks to Agi and Bubu at the restaurant, whose heart warming smiles, happy attitude and wonderful baby entertaining skills are to be commended, on top of serving delectable meals and catering to our vegetarian diet with creativity and finesse. The talented chefs deserve special mention for their dedication in crafting flavorful vegetarian dishes that delighted our taste buds every day.
The resort's amenities catered to every member of the family, with the kids' pool providing endless entertainment for our little one, and the pristine beaches inviting us to indulge in the blissful barefoot lifestyle of the island.
Overall, our stay at the Castaway Resort was nothing short of magical, thanks to the outstanding staff, breathtaking surroundings, and the laid-back island vibe that left us longing to return.

Our time on castaway was the most amazing experience and we didn't want to leave. The island is beautiful, there are lots of activities to keep you entertained if you wish or you can relax and soak up the sun and the wonderful hospitality. All the staff were helpful, kind and attentive. The entertainment at nights was varied and engaging. Imani and Rabbit's signing was always welcome, with a great range of songs and always smiling. I had an amazing massage that I can highly recommend. Our bure was clean and very comfortable, with daily maintenance and its location on the beach was perfect. Anyone looking for an island holiday should consider castaway island. The food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing sunsets, adventure walks, snorkeling, water sports, tennis and what looked like a great kids club (we didn't use this as we don't have small children).

The room is very basic and they don’t even have water in the room for free. Everything from the only shop is over price. The island is beautiful but room is too small to be called 2 bedrooms.

Beautiful island, one of the nicest in the Mamanuca Group. Lpovely friendly people. Comfortable accommodation. Very relaxing. The only negative was the meals. Although very enjoyable most of the time, prices were extremely high and at times, for example, Saturday night no other option (other than pizza) was availble so you were more or less forced to attend the BBQ/Carvery which at $A60pp was way over priced . Apar5 from that it was a very enjoyable holiday.

The staff were fantastic right from their wonderful singing reception at the waters edge when we arrived and at departure to every attention and friendliness throughout. We loved the small friendly size of the resort, very comfortable well set out bures, beach access, clear warm water and EVERYTHING about it. We were sad to leave and WILL return.

Great place for a family or couples holiday
From the moment we stepped ashore the friendly and attentive staff looked after us like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble and cocktail happy hour is not to be missed. Great food and something new everyday.
