The condo itself does need some additional updating. There is no closet space due to cleaning supplies and other items being stored. Condobwas mostly clean, but the floors were very dirty. Tile looked clean but our feet and socks turned black almost immediately, so the floors had definitely not been mopped well or at all. Sand, crumbs and dirt in corners and under furniture. With the cost of the condo, I expected more and for it to be cleaner. I probably would not stay here again.

Nice condo, small but worked fine for 5 adults. Great location, close to everything. Saw whale from balcony. Negative; floors could have been cleaner and had kissing bugs in bed. That is why 4 stars.

The condo was dated but it worked. The bathroom shower in the second bedroom didn’t work at all. I had to shower in the primary bedroom. There was only one beach chair and two beach towels for our 10 day stay. It would have been nice to have a sun umbrella for the beach as shade can be hard to find.

Great location & view!

We loved our stay here. The location is excellent - right on a beach that is great for walking and watching the sunset - and close to downtown with restaurants, shops and beaches. The view from the lanai is just what we wanted - a great view of the ocean. The property was supplied with all the basic and included some beach gear. (Note: there is one chair but it is a lawn chair, not a beach chair.) awe we’re happy with our stay here!

Beachfront, short walk to the ocean with ocean views

We loved the location of this condo. We have never stayed in Kihei before, but we loved it & look forward to returning to this fun, laid-back beach town. We typically stay in Lahaina. We are heartbroken for all those who have lost their loved ones & properties in the devastating fires on 8/8/23! We weren't sure if we should be coming to visit this year, but decided we wanted to support this beautiful island & it's locals, to whom we have been visiting for the past 27+ years. The property is in a great location right off of South Kihei Road. You can walk for miles on the beaches right out in front of the condo. We went for walks on the beach every day if not twice a day. We saw sea turtles resting on the beach & the rocks on most days during our walks (make sure to stay at least 10 ft away from them so you don't disturb them). We saw whales breaching from the lanai. We just wished there were binoculars in the condo to see them a little better. The condo is well appointed with an updated kitchen, new(er) appliances. It's so nice to have two bathrooms so each couple has their own to use. Vacasa was wonderful with all their correspondence & quick responses to texts. They provide you with a very nice gift bag full of island-inspired goodies. There are just a few aesthetic updates that can be done, but nothing that hampers the stay. It's a great option for families or couples.

Great Kihei Vacation Property

Nice 2bed/2 bath condo in Kihei located 10 min walk from dining and stores. Nicely updated kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils, lots of beach towels, AC, on site paid laundry, balcony facing ocean, and parking. The master has a patio door facing the ocean but you should know there is only a sliding screen (it locks) between the master and living room. There are chairs but they are lawn chairs, not beach chairs. The beach on the property is nice for walking but is kind of rocky and the water is a bit churned up and not ideal for swimming. There are nicer beaches a short drive away. The WiFi code didn’t work and we weren’t given the code for the pool, but we didn’t need them so we still had a wonderful time.

Nice place to stay - beach not great

The condo itself is comfortable. A few amenities short - no blender or dish towels. Main bedroom was fantastic - bed comfortable with a nice topper. Second bedroom not as comfortable - mattress might be a bit older. Not as supportive. Bathroom fans stopped working so things got humid and the second bath had a tap that wouldn’t stop running. Walk to beach is far compared to other condos we have stayed at and the beach is quite rocky and less sand.

Amazing property - great views and awesome location!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo in Kihei! A very nice launching point for all the activities on the South side of the island! A nice, quiet retreat when the day was done too! We loved our "goody bag" too! Used the cute little cooler bag on many of our outings...and now have an awesome memento to use at home! Mahalo for a great stay?

Property was nice, well located. Home was apparently disinfected?, but not clean. So much dust, mold

The process of renting was smooth. Unfortunately COVID rules make people rude, asked questions about having Christmas visitors and manager was very rude and abrupt about my grandchildren being tested to be on property. We changed our plans and visited at their home.
