This property is beautiful. The staff are amazing and if you are looking for quiet, out of the hustle and bustle - this resort is for you. Everything is at your fingertips and if you want to go into town it is a short trip away.
You must love stairs! BUT they keep you fit at least!

Lovely hotel out of the hustle of the bigger towns
Pros:Beautiful location with friendly helpful staff
Cons:Breakfast buffet a little bland and limited
Location:Great food in little village down the hill. Particularly restaurant called the barracuda. The cool bar just a stroll down the beach fun and lively
Lovely resort with plenty of space to relax and unwind without being on top of other guests.

Relaxed
What a tranquil place this truly is. There are a few steps around but it's not hard. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the rooms are clean. Beach is calm and clean and the waters having differing bottoms across the bay from sand to coral rock. Great for kids. Free kayaks and snorkelling. The staff can even help you to catch a few fish and then cook them.
It's close to cool bar and blue drinks. We made it to three, some have done 23. Wow. Go there to no know the full story, it two minutes from the hotel

The pools are great, three of them and endless drinks for the bar all day with food. Loungers adorn the beach and umbrellas.
It's quiet it's Tranquil it beautiful and the scenery is what you expect on an island.
Shuttle buses to other areas are almost free.

Rest & Relaxation
Pros:Hotel villas a good as it gives you the privacy which we like due to not being a hotel roomsbut separate villas. Really enjoyed the Deluxe Pool villa.
Cons:Villas need some updating but are very clean and comfortable. Lots of stairs to go to restaurant and would benefit with a travelator.
Location:Due to location of villas being in south part of island, need to use shuttle service to get to Chewang or Lamai. Shuttles need to be more regular.
Overall experience at Centara was good as we were there to attend a wedding in the south part of the island. Wanted a more relaxed break and Centara Villas is great to get away from the hussle and bustle of Chewang and Lamai. Staff are very friendly and very helpful.
Recommend to take advantage of the Baht Bonanza within 24 hours of check-in which is not mentioned at check-in but is mentioned in the Room Directory.
Negatives would be more shuttle times to be scheduled to go to Chewang and Lamai, more variety of food in the restaurant (ie, provide some western food) and some extra play areas (ie croquet, tennis court, mini golf, childrens activities scheduled, etc).
There are lots of stairs as the restaurant and all amenities are down by the beach or pool areas.

Location:Shopping in Lamai
Resort was clean and staff were friendly. Too many stairs for me. However, I have had multiple knee operations therefore struggled. About 40 minutes from Chewang Beach.
Step outside to unwind on the sand beach. At Centara Villas Samui you can cool off in one of the 3 outdoor swimming pools and indulge in a pampering afternoon at the full-service spa. There's a restaurant on site, as well as a coffee shop/cafe. You can enjoy a drink at one of the bars, which include a beach bar, a swim-up bar, and a bar/lounge. Public spaces have free WiFi. This beach hotel also offers a children's pool, a steam room, and a fitness center. Self parking is free. This 4-star Koh Samui hotel is smoke free.
