PLEASE BEWARE, PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS PLACE. This resort is an absolute catfish, the photos online are so fraudulently I’m surprised further reviews aren’t like this. Which leads me into any reviews left above 2 stars online for this place should also be charged with committing fraud or are fake. Whoever took the photos either needs to again be charged with fraud or given the Pulitzer Prize for Photography. This place is so run down I think a renovation is too far gone and a complete knock down and start again is in need. When you think of the Shangri-La around the world you think of luxury, well think of Christmas Island detention centre for this place. We were booked in for 6 nights but had to leave after 2 days. Our room smelt of mould and was a miracle the air conditioning didn’t fall through the roof with the noise it was making. Excellent place but is looking a little worn and needs a little face lift here and there. Also some more covered areas or additional umbrella's would be great for people with small kids.
