This should be the Flagship hotel in Liverpool!!!!
Love the Adelphi, its part of my childhood, I was visiting for business, beautiful hotel, however in parts looking really tired. I get it, its a massive hotel but this should be the flagship hotel in Liverpool. The reception looks like a queue for the post office, its dark and dingy, this should be much more inviting, If there are more than 2 people waiting at reception, service should be alot better, I felt I was ignored at the reception from other members of staff.

Staff was very helpful and friendly the company I have was there was no mirror in the bedroom there was a hairdryer which was great but no mirror to do your hair.staff said there would like in to the matter has they said it was a good point went we told them on checking out.

Stunning building both inside and out with helpful pleasant staff.Ufortunately it would require a massive imput of funds to bring it back to the beautiful impressive building it once was.Good staff is the building block of any successful organisation and the Adelphi has it in abundance.They deserve better from the owners.One particular member of staff (Jairrig probably spelt wrong) helped to make our 50th wedding anniversary an occasion to remember. I wish all their staff a successful future and hope Britannia Hotels gives the Adelphi the facelift it much needs.
