Pros: Convenient, clean, helpful staff
The room was small but clean. Convenient position within a few minutes walk to earles court underground station which is also very accessible from Heathrow airport. Easy to get into the city. Staff were more than helpful.

Good location- more suitable for an overnight stay

The hotel rooms were very small, very steep stairs with no lift, in good location close to tube station and city

Excellent location.

Location: Pubs, cafes, Starbucks, all kinds of cuisine are a stone's throw away. Earl's Court station is very close. Truly wonderful location.
Wonderful place to stay with my sister for our first visit to London. We stayed at this hotel for two weeks. The room was the size we had anticipated which was adequate. We did not spend a great amount of time in our hotel room but when we did we were pleased with the comfort, the kettle and coffee provided, and amount of channels on the TV! The location is excellent. A two minute walk to Earl's Court Station was so convenient. There are many pubs and cafes nearby as well as supermarkets and post offices, etc. We had the continental breakfast almost every morning as we felt it was generous for five pounds. The coffee machine was wonderful! Two days in a row, our toilet paper was not restocked and it was a bit of a business getting some from reception. We enquired with the hotel about whether there was a noise curfew as we sat in our beds having been woken by the guests upstairs (we could never understand what was happening every night as they seemed to start moving around the room between 10 and 11pm and thumping around intermittently- about every ten minutes for more than an hour- as if furniture was being moved as the furniture in our room shook) and the response from the hotel was to talk to a member of staff. This did not solve our problem. Overall however the Coronation was great for us and we would definitely go back.

Nothing can prepare you for the disappointment....

Cons: No lock on window. When you complain (before even dragging your luggage to the basement) you are told there are no refunds & to contact wotif (who won

When you complain (before even dragging your luggage to the basement) you are told there are no refunds & to contact wotif (who won't help you, understand, or even compensate you anyway). When you loose your mind with utter astonishment they will find a broom closet behind reception), where you will hear everything... Room is filthy, never cleaned, bed has wet patch/stains, bed is old & if you complain about springs in your back you are given sheets & told to make/to pad it yourself. Shower is tiny & sprays everywhere, breakfast is stale croissants & corn flakes, receptionist will have loud gathering with his mates at 1am. You will pay $160/80pounds per night for the worst 5 nights (they won't move you & wotif won't contact you so you just have to deal with it)... I've paid half that in Australia & had professionalism/business pride but definitely not in this hotel!!! I stayed in a wotif hotel (Russell court) in london (before this stay) & there is no comparison, russel court was way better, cheaper, cleaner! I see fine print.., wotif say they can't publish bad reviews. Interesting!! I trusted wotif & chose this hotel based on your bogus/biased reviews. Won't do that again. Think the public deserve to know about this hotel, even if you don't, so happy to amend my review if it'll get published.
