A good hotel
A good hotel in a quiet area. Check in ŵas a breeze. Although as gold members we were entitled to a room upgrade, they do not have family rooms at a higher level. The very friendly duty manager, Jairo gave us complimentary access to the executive lounge instead. Thank you Jairo! The room was ok but there is a lack of storage space for a family of 4. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide range of food on offer. Our only gripe was the 15-20 minute wait for the omelettes. Granted that the breakfast was pretty busy at the times we went. Housekeeping was a bit off with regards to cleaning the room but this was put right promptly after a quick pgone call to reception. The hotel is very nicely located on a quiet street just off St Pauls cathedral and the tube station a mere 5 minute walk away. We had a very early check-out and Jairo arranged a packed breakfast for us with a smile.

My son and I enjoyed our stay at the Leonardo St Paul’s. It was conveniently located and comfortable. The breakfasts were also very good, as was the lobby bar.

We arrived at the Hotel and was told our booking was not made on the day we had arrived. They then told us we was meant to arrive the day before. We had to wait a very long time for the staff to get back to us as they then explained there was a mix up and it was wrong on the system. We was quite disappointed as the booking and check in was not straight forward, and started our trip on a bad note. After the wait the receptionist told us where our room was which was in the wrong direction. We had to ask another member of staff to direct us to the right side of the hotel. One other issue was the bathroom condition. When using the shower the water immediately sprays outside of it and goes all over the bathroom floor. The light was also falling out of the ceiling. The light was taped on badly but still was hanging. We have stayed here before and are unsure if we would return. The nightly rate for a Saturday is not cheap and it seems the standards of the hotel have dropped since we returned this time round.

The property was excellent with an abundance of facilities including a gym, swimming pool and sauna. The staff were very accommodating and was a tranquil stay in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Central London.
