Comfortable but breakfast cold

Room comfortable and clean but window blinds seemed ill-fitting and tacky. Hotel clean and staff helpful. Breakfast food was supposed to be hot ( in bain maries) but was actually almost cold. Fried eggs were stone cold. Not good for a 2-night stay that cost over $550.

Our 3rd stay here, Value for Money

Location: Great proximity to the Queen Vic Market. 2 minute stroll away
This is our 3rd stay here, have stayed at many other hotels but keep returning to this one. My Son especially loves the pool and any request is not a bother to staff. The rooms are always clean and beds comfortable. Only complaint is that the 2 person rooms have no sliding door to access a balcony therefore can be stuffy but using the Air conditioner helped. Thankyou

great location, lovely staff

Pros: Location
Location: the Vic market, restaurants and public transport all close by
We were in the city for a birthday party. We stayed here which was so convenient to everything- walking distance to the party, and just around the corner from the market for breakfast on Sunday. the bed and pillows were very comfortable

Nice and very close to transport and city.

Nice apartment , centrally located. Unfortunately kitchenette disappointing..no dishwasher. Washing up by hand not a problem but no kitchen scourer provided. Apartment size was adequate but lounge furniture provided was without support and very uncomfortable .

Great pool

Positives: staff fantastic, lovely and helpful. The pool was fantastic- huge and the kids loved it. Restaurant had lovely food and the breakfast was good value for money. Negatives: Upon arrival we were given a different room to what was booked and told it was an upgrade however it was not really an upgrade. It was one of the kids themed rooms which I felt wasn’t really clean and I didn’t want my kids touching anything. All the hard surfaces and sheets were clean but everything needed a good scrub down and it smelt like urine. I asked to go back and they very happily obliged...to what I had booked which was two queens and felt much better in this room because it didn’t smell and seemed in better condition, it also had an air con that reached you, in the kids room it was standing fans. Overall the price was cheap so I guess that’s why - you get what you pay for. The whole place needs a revamp, damaged walls and walls all need a paint, particularly in bathrooms - very stained and splashed. The bed head also had something splashed on it. Location; too far from CBD Probably wouldn’t go back. But I have to say the lovely staff and clean sheets/surfaces made it a better experience. Thank u.

Excellent location

Great experience, the only negative was the safe door and the room door didn’t work so we were required to relocate to another room.Which was an inconvenience. it would have been an opportunity for the manager to provide us with a meal on the house or such in view of the inconvenience we experienced

Nice hotel

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming We did have to walk a fair bit to get to trams etc, but if you are healthy this should not be an issue. The pool was clean, but the sauna was out of order unfortunately, the gym did not have a lot of weight equipment. Breakfast was lovely Beds very very comfortable, the lounge furniture not so comfortable. Kitchen was modern and clean and the bathroom was also very clean. A small table to put toiletry bags would have been helpful in the bathroom. All and all I was very pleased with our choice.
