Completely false advertising about the property being under construction until AFTER the booking in which I received an email saying the pool and most amenities related to leisure were under construction for the Next YEAR.. paid $120 to go next door and use the pool. Landing page has a tiny red exclamation mark to open additional warning about the pool etc., all other pages tout the pool as available and amazing, which is how most consumers shop. Email warning came after booking, after I picked Non refundable as I was sure I was traveling on the selected dates. Shameful. I called Expedia, property and Hyatt before going, to cancel based on the “new” information, non cared a bit, pointed at the other parties, and haven’t fixed the website on Expedia … Buyer Beware… scam…ripoff for that price, really at any price on the beach with no amenities. Close the hotel, finish the job, reopen.
