Lovely and comfortable hotel out of Ubud central

We loved it here. Our room was in a courtyard villa shared with another room and we shared our private villa pool. The rooms were so comfortable the sliding window to the outside bathroom and shower was lovely with the plants and fresh air. It was quiet, peaceful and clean. Foxtel, free tea and coffee. The staff were sweet and kind and helpful. The hotel manager was great and so accommodating. There was so many wonderful things about this place i could go on. The shared hotel pool was also nice and the breakfasts both continenal and indonesian are simple but nice. We stayed 3 nights in Ubud at this hotel was a perfect amount of time. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Many thanks

Great spacious Villa

We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed more. We had the two room villa which had ample space for 3 adults and 2 children. Was only a short drive to centre of town. Staff very friendly and helpful.

15 minutes by car from ubud.

Pros: quiet , relaxing
Interesting to take a walk away from the main rd through the villages. Free shuttle to and from ubud at specific times of day ,if you are the only one/s wanting the shuttle times are flexible. Small place with nice pool ,quite limited meal selection and not a lot else within walking distance . Small supermarket down the road (indomart) While walking off the beaten track lots of locals stopped to talk thinking we were lost, all friendly people.

Hotel manager tried to scam us

Arrived with three tired children with our printed out itinerary and confirmation to be told that they don't use wotif and haven't done for 12 months. Manager then tried to convince us we might stay one night there then pay his 'friend' cash to stay at an alternate villa for the 2 further nights. We explained this was unnaceptable - we'd paid for three nights already - this was an obvious effort to extort additional monies from clearly vulnerable travellers - offering one night for the price of 3. We asked to call wotif - the phones were all mysteriously broken. The manager took our luggage and offered us a shuttle to town while they made up the room for one night. We took the offer to go into Ubud. Borrowed a local's phone - it took a $15 phone call and then over an hour on a callback and being put on hold - but wotif came through in the end with alternate accommodation which was excellent. The same local then took us to get our luggage - when we told the manager we had made alternate arrangements he became extremely aggressive shouting that we shouldn't have called wotif, we didn't listen to his instructions we HAD to stay there and at his friends villa (and pay some extra cash) etc. we calmly explained that we just needed our luggage please - we were free to stay wherever we liked and would be on our way - he continued to rant - we managed to get our luggage and exit the scene with our astonished children. A harrowing experience - we don't recommend staying at this villa.

Very peaceful. Lovely atmosphere. Courtesy bus to the centre of ubud meant it didn't matter that the villas are a little further out of town.

The Villas are about 15 minutes drive out of the center of Ubud so it is a very peaceful place to be (except for the roosters in the neighboring property). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely gardens and a nice big pool to relax by. Very large spacious rooms, we also had a separate kitchen/sitting room. We loved the big open bathroom and outdoor shower, although the enormous stone bath (the size of an Egyptian sarcophagus) took forever to fill with enough water to cover you. Being so far out of Ubud there aren't any restaurants close by so taxis are required if you don't want to eat in. There are only a few free shuttles into Ubud during the day (none in the late afternoon/evening) so outside of these times you have to rely on taxis (approx RP100k). Overall a very relaxing enjoyable stay
