It’s definitely a great place but you have to make a choice about the room doors that people allow to slam when leaving their room or going into their room. It’s very loud and hard and if you’re trying to sleep or nap the doors will bother you but it’s New York the city that never sleeps. Other than that enjoy your time and book a room !

Bad hotel in good location
Only good thing is location. #１problem is the room never got about 65 Fahrenheit despite setting thermostat and the heat blowing all night. Also odd: the room had no trash can! Also no coffee maker or even coffee in the lobby and no do-no-disturb sign so housekeeping had to knock early - these are simple things any normal hotel has. My room was much more drab than the photos make them seem.

This hotel is in a perfect location of good food, Central Park, close to Broadway and more. Decent hotel, nothing to right home about but has what you need for a short stay. Delicious little bagel shop close by. The sushi spot that is attached to the hotel was amazing. Would definitely stay again

How about sealing around the light on the shower wall so nobody dies when water hits it? Might be a good idea... King Deluxe is far from deluxe. The nice pic on the website overlooking the entrance to central park is not reality... Front desk was great. Rooms smaller than expected. The fuzzy wallpaper has to go. Its not 1974, nor a brothel. Bring your own lighting. Hallways are dim, probably to hide something, rooms not much better. Location to subway was excellent. Many conveniences nearby too. Overall, will stay somewhere else next time.
