Staff were friendly and was in great location . However there was a few things not great. Bathroom had no power point, the entry cards interfered with the mobile phones so had to keep getting them re- issued, no bin in lounge kitchen area, the rooms were not cleaned only after I asked it was done. The check in took too long as short staffed - took about half hour., the lamp light globe broke after first day.

We had to find ourselves another hotel and relocate in the middle of our trip. Staff are professional and friendly but the mattresses are just too old and mostly broken. The king beds are 2 twin beds next to each other so you can feel the bed frame in the middle of your “king” bed! After seeing that we downgraded our room for a queen bed which was a much smaller unit for the same price! However, regardless of the bed size and configuration, looks like all their mattresses are just too old and I ended up leaving this place with a backache after just a few nights! Room service and cleaning was not to my satisfaction but the mattress issue was a deal breaker and even their staff admitted that most people complain about the quality of their beds! NOT RECOMMENDED

I always stay here when I come to visit friends who live in Hawthorn. It’s an amazing place to stay, very easy to get around and always great service from the staff who work there. They also have some of the comfiest beds I’ve ever had the privilege to sleep in.
