The pool and sunken bar is central to the hotel. There is a bit of a walk to the main beach but worth it if you are wanting a change of scenery.

Facilities were tired/worn out and need a refresh. Pool was dirty/water cloudy. Waterslide was worn out. Balcony in room was rusted and unsafe. PowerPoints in room not fixed to wall securely. Lounge room inadequate for 5 people and only 3 chairs at dining table. Bathroom was ridiculously small. Smallest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Certainly disappointing for a Swissotel. We have experienced much better at other Swissotels.

Great family friendly resort. The staff are so wonderful with the kids and so many activities to keep the kids happy. Highly recommend.

Excellent resort. We did think that Kamala Beach was pretty dirty and lots of rubbish washed up on the beach which is a real shame. It just meant we used the fantastic pool at Swissotel more than anticipated.

Unfortunately the beach can be like that at times during rough weather but usually you will find it much more relaxing and calm than other beaches.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff is great, breakfast was great. Loved the pool and short walk to a nice non crowded beach. Rooms were clean and well attended each day. Only complaint is furniture including beds not really comfortable. Also would have like to be able to leave our four year old at kids club without a babysitter for an hour or so each day but this was only for 5 and up.
