The Sovereign Pier on the Waterways and the Tangiaro Kiwi Retreat are other alternative accommodation options worth looking into around Rings Beach.
Time permitting, be sure to travel to other parts of the North Island region. North Island offers beaches, coastal plains, forests and rivers. Commonly visited North Island tourist destinations are the art museums, nature museums and history museums. Common activities in this particular part of New Zealand include snowboarding.
Don't blow through before you have checked out the Cathedral Cove Beach, Cooks Beach and Buffalo Beach in Whitianga. You'll find Eden Park 85 kilometres to the west of Rings Beach. Planning to stay near the action? The Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour and the Quest on Beaumont could both be perfect.
Auckland International Airport is the most practical airport for accessing Rings Beach and is 85 kilometres from the centre of town. If you plan to stay nearby, try the Heartland Hotel Auckland Airport or the Airport Gateway Hotel.
