Had an excellent stay at Sydney Harbour Hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful and the area felt very safe, excellent options for food and shopping in the area, and the fact that its in the perfect spot for the attractions, close to public transport. Our favourite of it all was the rooftop heated pool and spa, and watching the sunset and rise up there, Priceless.

The atrium is beautiful. Our room was comfortable and clean. Appreciated the rail in the bath. It made it so that I was able to get into the bath to have a shower. Without it I would still be 😕

We got lost because the property changed its name from Rydges to Sydney Harbour motel during the time between our booking and our stay. It would have saved a lot of frustration and step count if we received a courtesy email about this name change when it occurred. An explanation would have helped in how to use the lift as well (e.g. use your card). I guess when you do it every day you forget that people coming from out of town do not know you need the card to operate lift.

This hotel is in a perfect location. It is less than 5 minutes walk to a huge array of local restaurants, bars and shops in The Rocks, 10 minutes walk to the Opera House and an easy walk to the centre of the city. Staff are friendly and the rooms are. very comfortable.
