Highway robbery prices over the weekend of the 23rd & 24th of Feb,2024. $700 a night for a shoebox, slightly more comfortable than a shared hostel room. If the price is over $150 a night, save your money and try elsewhere.

Upon arrival we were asked for a credit card we had assumed it was for a hold and after the service man had charged our card he continued to explain it was charged for parking. We were happy to pay for it but communication before the transaction would’ve been nice so we knew how much it was going to cost and things like that. The staff were very friendly and helpful even when dealing with difficult and disrespectful guests. We thought it was a very spacious room and the tv worked which was a bonus for us. The shower wasn’t the best the head seemed to be very blocked and the water wasn’t able to come out of each of the holes on the shower head. And the pressure wasn’t very good. We noticed under the bed the dust was at least 2 cms thick and was very disgusting and there were random socks we found around the room in random places otherwise we were happy with the room.

Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Staff are polite and the hotel is in a good location but the price was excessive and not worth it for a basic hotel ($700 for two nights!). TV in the room didn’t connect to wifi and I was advised by reception that it’s ‘hit and miss’ as to whether the TV would connect. For the price I paid I would have thought they have the wifi sorted. If the price were more reasonable I would stay again.

The room rates are good value for money, the location is very convenient to the CBD, Barangaroo and Circular Quay. Nice to have the bar downstairs for a nightcap and a coffee in the morning.
