The check in was cumbersome. Sent message stating 3pm was outside of check in hours and I had to do an online check in which had me uploading licence and credit card details which is very uncomfortable in the current environment. There was then no prompt as to what to do next so I called the number and got voicemail. After a call back shortly after I was welcomed onsite by staff who were in the office and no doiubt could have processed check in there and then?? Car park is confusing as its a separate building. No explanation of this either...

I found the customer service to be incredible when I arrived my room had a fridge leaking but the reception lady upgraded me to a bigger room free of charge. Also I was given a late check out and that truely was appropriated. Thank you

Hotel should offer more towels especially when there is a pool. The lobby and hallways smelld of dog even though there was a no animal polocy

Not only was the apartment in a state of severe uncleanliness, but it also contained health hazards that are completely intolerable. The presence of what appeared to be human faeces on the bathroom wall is beyond disgusting and poses a serious health risk. Additionally, the overall dirty condition of the apartment, including stained and soiled carpets, cigarette butts, an abundance of dust and grimy indoor and outdoor furniture was appalling. This level of neglect in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards is unacceptable and has significantly impacted my experience and trust in this establishment. Furthermore, the lack of response from your management only added to the distress caused by these unsanitary conditions.

The customer service at the Dalgety is excellent. Clint went out of his way on more than one occasion to assist me - he’s wonderful! The pool is beautiful with great views and my apartment was huge. Some of the kitchen utensils could do with updating (split chopping board etc) and furniture has a bit of wear and tear. A fantastic location if you are working in Townsville CBD and only a short walk to the local Woollies for groceries. Thank you to Clint and the team.

Car park lift was broken so that made it difficult to work out how to access the apartment as it was a weekend and reception was closed. Otherwise the staff did leave after hours instructions (it just didn’t cover the broken lift) Location was good but a wifi option would have been good.

Apartments were a great set out, but the floors in apartment were disgustingly dirty. Black feet throughout stay from floors. Also cockroaches in apartment and a lot of mould in shower. Just needs a bit of TLC and a scrub and would be great, as great location and setout.

The property is within a 3 minute walk to the Leagues a club back door, 5 minutes to Chemist Warehouse, 6 minutes to Woolworths, 15 minute walk to the footy stadium and 15 minute walk to the Strand. I chose this property based on location and it didn’t disappoint. There were 3 of us for the 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, so that worked well. The king bed was huge in the main room. We loved the washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is a great size, being on holidays, I never one used the dishwasher, preferring to hand wash our breaky items and ate out for the rest of the day. Aircon worked well, then used the overhead fans at night and turned aircons off. 2 balconies were cute, but not used much as was the pool. Good place to stay to be close to everything.
