It is an excellent location for nearby attractions like the Australian Museum (we saw the Ramses Gold of the Pharaohs) and it came with an ample under ground parking area for an extra small fee overnight ($25 ish) which was a godsend for out of towners driving our own car. Parking was easy enough once you work out which signs to follow around winding drives through a few docks and garages and get a parking ticket at the gate to enter. You then take this to the staff at reception and they then sort the parking ticket fee and lodge you in their system so no pulling up out front and rushing in to sort anything and worrying your blocking traffic thankfully. The staff were very friendly and helpful for the most part.

The hotel has recently introduced a policy of no daily room cleaning unless requested. So after a 3-day stay there was a lot of rubbish in my room and needed new towels. These could have been requested but at almost $400 per night and the star rating of the hotel I would expect that these things would be part of the service. I was told at check out that I could have requested daily room cleaning. Would have made a whole lot more sense to not ify me of that at check-in!
