Hotel breakfasts worth getting out of bed for

Being on holiday has many benefits and one of them definitely is the joy of a hotel breakfast.

1. Pier One Sydney

Danishes this fresh and glistening are just begging to be eaten. Because you need to get your daily serves of fruit in right? And they taste even sweeter served up with a side of harbour views.

2. The Playford, Adelaide

Sometimes buffets with a lot of variety tick the quantity but not the quality box. Not so at this five star Adelaide gem! You’ll feel super classy tucking into the first meal of the day in the chandelier adorned dining room with a variety of juices, fresh South Australian berries, gourmet cereals, pastries and even churros with hot chocolate sauce. Yum!

3. Harbour Rocks Hotel MGallery by Sofitel, Sydney

If you can’t have a crepe for breakfast when you’re on holiday, when can you? Order a sweet or savoury crepe or galette from Creperie Suzette at Harbour Rocks Hotel MGallery by Sofitel and try not to weep when you go back to your standard weekday cereal or toast.

4. Elements of Byron

Guests enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast included in their villa rate but with avocado toast this pretty – served with slow cooked eggs, cherry tomatoes, coriander and jalapeno on sourdough you would be crazy not to order off the a-la-carte menu too. Bonus points for the pool view too.

5. QT Gold Coast

We know people who make any excuse to go to the GC just to indulge in the QT buffet breakfast. It’s that good. Think glorious fruit displays, eggs to your liking, pastries, sweets and seriously good waffles.
