Overall the property was beautiful and very clean, however one arrival we were informed that we were being downgraded as they had oversold the rooms. We had this room booked for several months and had booked it specifically, so this was disappointing. We also had booked twin beds as we are not a couple, and were told that there were not twin rooms available so were left to share a bed which again, was not what we had wanted. We were offered partial refunds and 4 free drinks at the bar, how ever the bar wasn’t open when we actually wanted to use the voucher so it wasn’t much help. The fridge in the room also barely worked. The hotel itself was really pretty and the staff were pleasant.

Everything about Hotel Estherea exceeded our expectations! The setting was beautiful and perfectly located for beautiful views and walks along the canals, shopping and dining. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else after our wonderful experience. We were cared for like royalty! Thank you Hotel Estherea!

This hotel was so cute! We loved the decor, and the staff was very friendly. The bar on site was the perfect place to meet up before heading out or to grab a night cap after a day out. We were continently located, and loved seeing the cats roaming in the lobby.

Beautiful, clean but slightly too small.
The hotel was beautiful, the location is excellent and the staff was really friendly. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because of the room size, I had the standard room and it is simply too small to be really comfortable. Yes for a city trip or business trip fine, but the toilet and shower are literally next to your pillow on the bed. If you are a couple, you most probably will have to leave the room for 10 min in the morning.

Stayed at the property for 4 nights (rm.302) in Feb. 2024 for our 30th anniversary. Oh my! The room was stinky and smelled of smoke so bad that we weren’t able to get rid of headaches while in the room despite our attempts to air it out. Everything from towels to bed linens, curtains to carpet stunk of smoke and the air in the room was stuffy and unbearable. Service was an experience of its own. Although breakfast was good, you were limited in time you can enjoy it to a ridiculous time slot that staff polices mercilessly. You get no “Good Morning” or “How are you?” just a “Do you have a reservation?” even if the place is empty. We had to carry dirty dishes back to the kitchen as there was no one to collect them and they piled over on the tiny table we dined on. We had breakfast 3x and the experience was the same every day. Quite disappointing! Will not recommend.
