The hotel was very convenient location for me, visiting Lake Hood. Disapointed with no restaurant on site or nearby. Would use Puffin again if I ever return to Alaka

Got to Hotel and the desk clerk made remarks and acted like I was a inconvenience to her. Got to room and a window was open and heaters were shut of in February in Alaska room was very cold. Went to use restroom and someone had left human Feces in toilet unflushed. Floor was clearly dirty. Bed linens had stains and looked to be unwashed from last tenant. Blankets had Body order smell to them. Went to breakfast and witness rude obese woman behind desk yelling across the room instructing a young boy how to use waffle machine. Came back a hour later to check out and witness same woman being extremely rude to a foreign language speaking with broken English man that was trying to show her on his phone what his questions were. She said out loud your annoying me and i have to put breakfast away and walked off and left the man with a puzzled look on his face. I left my key cards on her desk and avoided interaction with her and left. I will never go there again unless i hear it is under a new management. 2/17/24
