Queens Cottage Oneroa | Be My Guest

**Brand new listing - good availability**

Queens Cottage is the perfect holiday spot - a cute cottage close to Oneroa, with unparalleled views across the Hauraki Gulf.  It is an original 1950's Waiheke bach which has been beautifully renovated and has a separate sleepout alongside the main cottage.

The entrance opens into the gallery style kitchen, and from there into the open plan living & dining area.  This looks out across the bay & opens onto the deck at the front.  There is sky TV and a wood burner, so it is a great spot in winter or summer alike.  The master bedroom is off from the living area, again with views across the bay, and the  bathroom is off the other side of the living area.

The sleepout is just across the lawn, and has 2 single beds, a separate WC and basin.  This sleepout is perfect for older kids, grand-parents or another couple and boasts the same stunning views.

Queens Cottage is ideally located only a short walk to Oneroa village (approx. 15 mins) with its numerous shops and restaurants. A walkway across the road leads to the coastal path, along which you can get to Little Oneroa beach, a lovely beach for families, but also there you will find great fish & chips, coffee & the Dragonfired food truck.

Each stay incurs a $150 charge for quality linen, towels and exit clean so you have nothing to do but relax, refresh and enjoy.

GREAT STAY...NOT SO GREAT WEATHER!
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay and very much appreciated the late check-out. The cottage and the 'sleep-out' were perfect for our group...a married couple and two singles. The weather was wet and cold so we really enjoyed lighting the log fire. We would definitely return but would love to have a wifi booster in the 'sleepout' as the connection was very spasmodic. Many thanks for a very comfortable stay.

Oneroa Original Bach
This bach is super close to drive to Oneroa. It’s an original bach with a view of the harbour. The facilities are all one would need but modest. The fire was welcomed as it was a freezing night and blowing a gale outside and needed to warm the place up. Very good internet to watch the soccer though. This place is best suited to a summer stay.

Queens cottage
My family & I had an enjoyable & relaxing stay at Queens cottage. Cute & very comfortable with great ocean views. Great location, walkable distance to beach & shops. The only thing I would recommend is trimming the trees at the front of the section to improve the view & providing more cutlery & crockery. Thanks for a great stay!

Queens cottage vs Cobweb cottage
The location was ideal but the cottage did not live up to expectations at all. I had to ask for additional coat hangers (there were only 4 in the wardrobe), I doubt the cottage has been thoroughly cleaned and dusted in a very long time. Cobwebs everywhere - inside cupboards, over the bookcase, behind the wicker chair, the peg basket was one giant cobweb - the windowsills had not been dusted in ages, the deck railing is falling apart, insufficient hooks on the curtains, the laundry basket needs to be thrown away and the paintwork on the exterior windows is in a very bad state. Overall we did not think it warranted the price we paid and although we enjoyed the views, we were extremely disappointed in the overall state of the cottage. I have taken photographs and will supply those to Be My Guest .

Fabulous!
Lovely property, very clean and well appointed. Super close to Little Oneroa beach which is just beautiful and very safe to swim in. Lovely relaxing proper to stay at. Very sad our stay ended and we had to leave but we are already planning next to come back next year.
