Without doubt the scrambled breakfast eggs were the best I have ever tasted in a hotel. The dining room manager was so welcoming and friendly you wouldn't know she was so busy and in demand. The waiting staff were also managing smiles and quick to help despite the breakfast area packed on Anzac morning. Our evening meal was equally enjoyable with a tertifiv menu choice. In general every staff member we met were smiling, polite and professional. It made our day. The location was central which made life easier, short walks or drives to activities. We have already made recommendations after our very comfortable and pleasing stay, we plan to return for another visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful weekend away in Canberra staying at the Crowne Plaza. This hotel is just wonderful in every way. Perfectly situated for so many shopping, dining and entertainment options that are just across the road. Superb friendly staff and beautiful, comfortable and luxurious rooms.

The Crowne is old and tired looking. Ridiculous old fashioned cranking of the blinds - no curtains. The lift carpet was filthy - no matter whether early, middle of the day or evening. However rooms clean and comfortable.
