Highly recommend for short trips (3-4 days)
To preface, we stayed in a cosy double room with a window. The room was everything as advertised, small but very well equipped. Bed was very comfy, the bathroom was clean and had very nice facilities. This hotel/room type is perfect for a few-day trip with minimal luggage (like a backpack), as storage is small. Staff was freindly, and accommodating for anything we needed help with. Additionally, they have a very easy check-in and check-out system which is self-service. The only minor critique is we didn’t get a towel change after 3 days (which was advertised) but that may have been because we were only there for 4 days. Ultimately, was very pleased with our stay, and if we were in Edinburgh again, we would very likely stay here again.

excellent friendly, clean and well located hotel
I would have given five stars for everything but the mattress was a bit lumpy and bumpy. Super friendly staff, good location. The bedroom although small was fine for me staying one night. The bathroom was great too. If only they would change the mattresses! I would go back there and do recommend it.

Perfect stay!
Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff was kind and gave us amazing recommendations and had very helpful and friendly conversation. The room was the perfect size for two of us. It was conveniently located, but the times listed are a little off on the site. A walk to Edinburgh castle is closer to 20-25 mins, but Edinburgh is pretty small in general with everything right next to each other so it doesn't feel like that long of a walk, and if you're like us, you're wanting to walk everywhere anyways. Great places to eat right next to the hotel and the bar is open until midnight so great to grab a drink for an early night here.
