4 hour wait in the lobby due to strict 3pm check in time, but due to cyclonic weather conditions, werent even able to access guest services prior to check in time (despite paying more than $600AUD for the 1 night). Requested to book spa during this 4 hour wait so we didnt miss out, told we couldnt book until check in time - which was then completely booked out including private onsens for the entire afternoon and night. Wanted to hike a mt the following day to see mt fuji, werent able to book a taxi at 0530 despite the website saying we could, we would have to pay extra. No buses at this time and no courtesy vehicles for guests to get around town or to hiking spots. When we asked to book a taxi for earliest time, told by that stage all taxis booked (this was the night before). Told the courtesy bus to train station was also all booked at 10am (at this point, we just wanted to get out of here), managed to easily get on by just being at the bus at 10am. Would not recommend to other tourists who want to enjoy a massage in a relaxing spot and do a cool hike in the area. Bit of a bummer for our honeymoon given we couldnt do anything we wanted to. Staff in the dining room were lovely.
