If a comfortable bed; cleanliness; and quiet is what you want the Ahern offers all of these. The rooms do not offer recycling and we asked at the desk and were advised that they didn't have. There is no coffee maker in the rooms and I assume you would have to go to the restaurant across the street/lane to get coffee. The hotel bar, restaurant and lounge, as well as the liquor and shopping outlets, within the half block radius, close down at 11 p.m. on weekends. It is about a long block and a half to the Stratosphere for after 11 p.m. entertainment. The Ahern is located a long half block to the Monorail at the Sahara, and the Deuce on the Strip bus. The Security and cleaning staff were visibly present throughout the day and evening, and were extremely friendly. The restaurant across from the hotel has good food and the prices were not outrageous. We would probably stay closer to the Strip next time as it was a bit time consuming getting to events and night life, and disappointing that everything was closed at 11 p.m.

The hotel was nice and quiet. Easy to navigate. It's a non-gaming hotel with a few eating options and a coffee shop. It's located across the street from the Sahara and within walking distance of The Strat.

I have never seen a hotel that does not have a coffee machine. The receptionist were young and very less experienced, the room next to our room was very loud from 4:20 AM till 730 we could not sleep.
