Not What I expected
I booked an executive room for my wife and myself. The furnishings in the room was no better than that of a Premier Inn standard room. there was no easy chair, just a desk chair, whose cover didn't fit properly. The covering on the sofa didn't cover the entire cushion; it was more like a badly fitting fitted sheet and kept falling off. All in all the room was very tired. That's one thing in a standard room but when paying a premium rate one would expect better. It's all about the detail. I don't think I will book another Novotel. The staff were excellent, courteous & the communal areas were good.

Another good stay, one of my go to hotels when staying in Leeds. Reception staff very friendly, my room had a few minor issues.... Hair dryer but not plugs near any of the mirror so not much use. Also when went for breakfast had to wait a while to be seated as the lady on was no where to be seen eventually a cleaner told me to speak reception who found the relevant person
