The handicapped accessible rooms had generous showers with good water pressure and nice shower chairs. The breakfast was the usual free breakfast, which was good enough, except the water in the tea carafe was room temperature. There was no breakfast attendant, so I went to the front desk, but found the clerk sleeping. There was no soap in my room, and when I tried to call to the front desk found that my telephone had no cord to connect it to the wall. There was only one towel, and no washcloths in my 92 y.o. uncle’s room. When he called the front desk, the clerk told him he’d need to walk down and get the items because he was the only employee. My 91-year-old mother spends part of the night in a chair. The chair in the room was very comfortable. There was, however, no bed scarf for extra blanket for her to cover with. I removed a sheet, which was covering the down insert, and found the down insert had multiple stains.

The breakfast was horrible. My eggs were crunchy. The room door looked like someone kicked it open before the lock was hanging so i used hangers to keep door from being opened.

I was worried about staying here after seeing the reviews. Here are my observations; Whatever is making the overwhelmingly strong perfumed smell around the check in area needs to be either stopped altogether or replaced with something MUCH less strong. I had to kind of hold my breath at check in and still ended up having an asthma attack by the time I reached my room. It is offensively strong. I don't know if it is a plug in, incense or what but it is an incredibly strong scent and not good for anyone with allergies or breathing problems. The painting of the trim black in the hallway and rooms was a good idea. However, it looks like it was done in haste and with no skill. It actually takes away from the appearance of the decor. It gives the impression that the building is poorly kept. It would be worth the time and expense to have it touched up. The poor paint job gives a Very bad impression. The hallway was the worst, but it was true of our room too. The rooms are actually nicely appointed with good furniture and tasteful decor. The beds are nice as well. But the shoddy paint job makes it look bad. Don't let an easy fix be the cause of lost tenants. I didn't go to breakfast, but my husband said it was just awful. The few things offered were improperly prepared. Either under or over cooked to the extreme. The coffee was poor. A small breakfast is fine. But it has to be done properly with quality offerings. Invest in good coffee, even if you have to have a Keurig.

This property was ok. Several mistakes made with the reservations, breakfast was not good, was not as clean as other Wyndham properties I've stayed at before. It feels like they are running on a shoe string budget; seems like they are extremely short staffed and it shows in the overall experience.
