Didn’t realise there was no lift, and carrying heavy bags up 4 flights of stairs was a challenge. Room was basic. Bed ok but bedding minimal. Quirky room decoration. The bright walls and coloured tiles were very attractive .. quite funky. Was ok, but won’t revisit.

Lovely Gem of a Hotel
A lovely hotel which for me was well located. The staff were polite and really helpful. I would highly recommend it. The only negative comment would be that the iron board needs a new cover as the grill lines were imprinted onto my dress but this did not affect my overall pleasure of my stay.

Great hotel, something a bit different
Really nice hotel will definitely stay again when we are visiting. Staff friendly, clean rooms, decor is great and love the bar area and breakfast choice. Much better than a boring chain hotel. Location is great as lots of amazing food places nearby on a lively road. Sound proofing of windows works well as it blocks out the road noise enough that is does not disturb your sleep.

Swindlers! I booked and paid for a room with two beds (deluxe double) which clearly stated "two double beds" and even included a picture of two beds in the room. However when I arrived I was given a room with a single bed and I was informed that other than the "family room", the hotel does not have rooms with two beds. I was not offered any compensation or 'freebie' or other benefit. Banging doors, including at night, resonated very loudly in my room, while the noise from the busy high street right outside my bedroom was intolerable. The only thing going for this place that I noticed is a decent breakfast for only £8.
