For the price I paid (£75 as a gold member with student discount), it was amazing. Excellent and kind staff, very professional and friendly. I would stay here again! Made me feel so welcome as an ethnic minority.

Terrible stay
The bathroom door fell off the hinges. The toilet took four flushes to flush. The cleaner went and cleaned our room while the do not disturb sign was on the door. The twin beds were so close together it should be advertised as a queen bed. No tv remote. Doors were slamming anll night long. The hallways smelled of cheap perfume. All staff did was offer breakfast which we couldn’t even take advantage of.

The building is really beautiful on the outside and the main lobby you can see a lot of effort has been put in, but the staff act like they work for the royal family they are so rude they had the cheek to look both me and my partner up and down like we had done something as soon as we walked up to the front desk. The room was tiny the tv was about 18” but placed so far away from the bed you may as well had just put a radio in. Bathroom had slight mould inside bath itself wasn't clean and had dents in it, the sink was a nightmare it wouldn't drain properly the toilet was the only thing clean, evidence of smoking inside the room, even though it says “no smoking” on the room door, some paint work needed as it was peeling away, draught coming through the closed window which was above the bed, and headboard of bed was incredibly dirty. Side of the bed had marks which looked like mould, the only thing the hotel was useful for was to sit down after a long day. Rooms need updating, if you stay for 1 night only its not as bad but cant imagine booking this place for a longer holiday. Overall poor experience wouldn't recommend to my enemy let alone a friend/family.

Hotel was fine, breakfast was extortionate.
The hotel is what you would expect from a city centre hotel. It's clean and tidy, romms are on the small side but clean and comfortable. I was very disappointing with breakfast. I had prepaid the rooms and breakfast for a colleague and myself to find there was no cooked breakfast so it cost £14 each for two rounds of toast and a cup of coffee.
