A little bit of luxury
We had just returned from four days on the Whanganui River and this was the luxury we craved! Beautifully clean with every amenity and appliance you can think of - plus a lovely spa to help with muscle recovery! Would highly recommend spending time here and hope to visit again.

Luxurious warm cabin with all the trimmings
We had 2 young families stay in the chalet. The kids room was very roomy and had great little nooks for playing games and reading. Two entertainment areas one for kids and one for adults was priceless. Cozy, warm feel and had all the trimmings like coffee machine, fire pit, spa, all the wood you could want and pizza oven. Excellent communication with owner. Close to all ammenities and safe area for kids. Absolutely loved our stay and really appreciated the extra touches like the hamper. Walking in to a very tidy and beautifully designed house that was also practical for families.

Great stay in Ohakune!
Susan's place is incredible. She was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. She is also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few nights stay while in Ohakune. Will definitely be back.

Ohakune stay
The chalet house was comfortable warm and decorated nice. Located on main road close to other holiday houses. We were looking forward to soaking in the spa pool but unfortunately ended up with spa pool rash, red and itchy and sore which put a damper on the end of our holiday and having to take extra days off school/work.

Fabulous Family Fun!!!
This chalet is luxurious. There were 4 adults and 6 children on our adventure in Ohakune and we were not disappointed. Everything was catered for and we had a blast. From the disco like jacuzzi, to the wonderful open fire place, toasting marshmallows, watching Netflix then snuggling up in bed with electric blankets after a day spent frolicking in the snow. We didn't want to leave! Unfortunately, bad weather set in near the end of our stay and we were unable to ski, so the children spent time climbing the rock wall at the SLR ski shop... and everyone who's ever been to Ohakune knows, you can't possibly resist the famous chocolate eclairs which are humongous. LOVED the Bavarian! Thanks so much Susan, no doubt we will be back...
