Was a lot of hair in my room on the bench in the room with the spa and in the plug hole. Also food wasn’t up to expectations my salmon was very overcooked and the scrambled eggs were watery in the buffet breakfast. Gym equipment also broken and pretty unsafe.

The staff were friendly but there didn't seem to be enough of them. We would have dined in the restaurant but no one was monitoring the entrance of the dining room, so we left after a few minutes. (We noticed another guest was having the same experience the next day). There was a significant leak in the corridor not far from our room, this was there before we checked in & was worse when we left the next day. Our bathroom felt like it needed a good clean & definitely needed some maintenance work. The bedroom was clean though & spacious. It felt like we had been given an old room & that the hotel was still struggling after the quiet times of covid.

Run down property and furniture. Material on outside furniture was about to split and when we told reception they said they were going to switch them out but heard nothing. Place needs a good clean, water lady and paint. Shower was very bad temperature and pressure. Not worth the price paid

Unkept untidy pavement area outside room. Doors to the outside were sealed but I think there could have been a nice little seating area that could be accessed from the EXIT door in the hall. Trays of in room breakfast still sitting outside our room from previous guests at 5pm.It was difficult to climb into the spa bath to take a shower and there was Mould in the tiles.

Accessibility and lobby were ok. The overall presentation is dated and looks tatty. The restaurant looks like a chow hall with very limited staff and as a result only few people will feel inclined to visit the area. The room was spacious and all amenities worked.
