Enjoyed our stay at 3rd Street Inn, McCall, Idaho
One night stay at 3rd St. Inn in McCall, ID. Chosen because of previous reviews. It did not disappoint. Nothing flashy, just a clean hotel in a convenient location with very helpful staff and an above average breakfast. Would gladly return.

Horrible Check In
I called this location the day before arriving to confirm our reservation, I asked if it would be possible to check in early and I was told we could check in at noon. We arrived shortly after noon and was told abruptly by the Manager that we could not check in and they tell “everyone” that check in at noon is a possibility but not for the room we booked. I told her that if I was told that a noon check in was a possibility and not a guarantee then I would have arrived at 3pm. She had a list of excuses and did not take any responsibility for the miscommunication. I returned at 3pm to check in and was told by the same Manager that my room was not ready and I’d have to wait another 30 minutes. She was not apologetic and left without informing the staff that I was waiting in the lobby to be able to check into my room. I waited patiently and was finally able to get into my room at 4pm. The service at the front desk was horrible and the Manager did not represent herself like a manager should.

Ok place, get breakfast somewhere else
Our room was clean and very minimalist. Yhe remodel in the bathroom was very nice. The one chair in he room was very uncomfortable. The pillows were awful. Breakfast buffet was cold gravy for our biscuits and cold sausages. Rather than risk food poisoning we chose to leave. We did speak to the desk clerk about that and they said the staff was having trouble keeping up with the crowd. They also said the food was ok because it was reheated and already cooked.
