Average - Small worn room & not the best cleaning
We were rather disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The room was smaller than anticipated and was incredibly tight with 2 large suitcases. The room was also very worn eg with marks up the wall underneath the TV (presumably where others had tried to store their luggage) which could have easily been fixed with a bit of attention ie paint. We also weren’t satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and when we checked in we found a receipt from the previous guest on the floor which suggested that the floor had not been cleaned. In addition, when the staff came to change the bins they didn’t clean the bathroom bin nor did they take our empty pizza boxes meaning we had to speak to reception to get them to collect it the next day ! For those wishing to use room service, there is a small menu advertised outside the restaurant. We didn’t find out about this until the final night as such a service was not advertised online nor on the information sheet given to us during check in. The hotel bar is nice but can only seat 6-8 guests. It is also worth mentioning that despite there only being 5 guests at the bar when we were there, we (and the couple next to us) were continually told that there was only one martini glass left so only one of us could have a martini ! Just a bit odd and not what you would expect from a high end hotel / bar.

Beautiful new hotel in a quiet place off the beaten path but walkable to Harajyuku and other nice spots. Much better vibe than Roppongi if you prefer a quiet area. The view on higher floors is excellent - get the corner room!
