There appeared to be a lot of gang members standing around drinking. The police were in attendance. Not suitable for families.

Would not recommend to anyone I know

I often stay in budget accommodation, so I did not book in here expecting luxury. However, this really is the pits. Some of the negative reviews "Terrifying and Disgusting" on this site seemed a little over the top, but I would now completely believe them. The filthy caravans, frankly intimidating permanent residents and general vibe of this place leave much to be desired.

Underwhelming

Pros: Nothing.......I did however catch up with a staff member who happened to an old associate.......He laughed at our predictament..
Cons: Yes Put a bulldozer through it
Location: You are kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Having booked and prepaid to be required to pay again was /is an outrage.......The Proprietor took advantage of the lack of accommodation in town for that weekend to in my view fleece me and other members of my party Having booked room and given a caravan is unacceptable.......Travelling companions in their mid 80s and infirm our outraged......Will not complain.......Because they don't know how and of a generation who won't I will... You canvassed my/this response Rates as one of the worst episodes in my life.....Considering I/we were in that town to lay to rest my departed brother....

Checked in, but didn't stay

I don't usually bother with reading reviews and regret that I didn't in this case. I selected this motel because of its quiet location. This was the only thing the place has going for it. After 30 minutes in the room the damp smell got too much and an allergy was triggered. As a result, we reloaded the car and gave the key back and departed to find another location in which to stay. The rest of the facilities at the complex reminded me forcibly of family holidays in the early 1970s, as that would appear to be the last time the place was updated. Warning: the manager doesn't always know if you have prepaid through Wotif and may try to bill you at check in as well. While I got one lot of money back, the second was only going to be paid if the room was able to be relet. Read the cancellation policy carefully.

Cheap and nasty!

Pros: Cheap
Cons: The carpet needs replacing and the rooms need new decor and fittings. Free 100mb is a joke.
Location: ok if you have a car Free fast 1 hour wifi available at Pizza Hut in town!
You pay for what you get. Pay a bit extra and stay somewhere else.

I suspect the motel is being used for state interim housing and as such influences the appeal of the motel. It was however inexpensive and adequate given the cost.

A great traveling through hotel but not somewhere I would stay for a week. but if you just needed a bed for a night while traveling to another area it fits the bill 100%
