We stayed here because of the great reviews it had. Nice close location to the freeway. The room itself was a good size with two queen beds; one was comfy, the other was a tad hard (no pillow top as advertised) and apart from hearing the neighbouring rooms all night flush their toilet/turn on taps, it was very quiet. Unfortunately that’s about all this place has going for it. The room was dated and filthy. The carpet had stains/marks and what appears to be patches where no vacuum has ever touched visible throughout. The bathroom: hair all over the floor and what I only hope was tooth paste splattered all over it. Patches around the toilet and corners, that again, look as though cleaner has ever touched. A dirty shower base, a vanity and taps that; not only were quiet visibly dated, but had also not had a good clean for quiet some time. The heater: was an electric heater on the floor which was unsafe for us travelling with young children. The air con: a sign placed under stating not to use. All walls and doors were marked with dirt and fingerprints. Although we did not get to have a meal in the restaurant, we did have the breakfast from there which was delicious.

If you enjoy an elegant warm atmosphere with beautiful rooms and comfortable beds then I would recommend this property without hesitation. The hosts made us feel welcome and comfortable. The establishment had an old school air of respect which rubbed of on the guest and made dinning in the restaurant such an enjoyable experience. People spoke quietly and respectfully, It was such a breath of fresh air. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this establishment. It is a true Gem.
