I would describe the general condition of the property as well worn. Generally it was clean, however walls were very scuffed and there was a definite odour

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Rooms were immaculately clean with all comforts and conveniences for a 3 night business stay. Friendly helpful staff and opposite a good mall. Recommended

Just missing a few things...

Looked like decent motel online (similar name to one just down the road too) and it was nice, but missing a few things... like air con, for the hot nights I was there. Not enough parking, so I had to do laps of local streets to find one. Had small fold out windows I had to open as it was so warm in the room, which thanks to people checking out at 3am and 5am made for a restless night. Also weird my room had no wet towel rail or hangers. Older well used mattress and a shower head that leaked badly was enough for me in the end. Staff are nice, but there are lots of other motels to choose from, find a better one in your search.

Save your money and dont stay here

Hated every minute of our stay. No free Wifi. Shower was just a trickle. Lounge chair was torn and damaged. Rude staff. Half the power points did not work. Television in the bedroom was straight out of the 20th Century. Definitely not value for money here.

Hi Jeff It is unfortunate that you have posted 2 reviews for the same stay(Pauline) The shower in the spa is not a trickle and has pressure as per NZ standards. All power points are working ,some of them in the bedroom are on paralell connection with switches next to the bedside. We have HD TVs in all the rooms,the 20th century TV was a disconnected TV sitting on top of the wardrobe.You have not mentioned the latest Samsung HD TV. You have been provided Free WIFI as per our policy and some extra on top of that. All our staff are very polite and helpful to all our guests. All the rooms are cleaned and serviced every day and there is no smell in our rooms.You should have advised us during your stay and we could have redressed it immediately. Towels are stacked in the vanity and are changed each morning.There is a towel rack for hand towels and face cloth. It is good that other wise you had a good holiday in New Zealand.

Horrible experience

I wish I could say something nice about this hotel but I cant. We booked the one bedroom executive room for 3 nights. The room smelt so bad that I had to go and buy room deodorizer so make it bearable to stay in. The shower was a trickle and there were no towel racks. No free wifi is disappointing. Staff were rude. It has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was a bad ending to an otherwise great holiday in New Zealand. My recommendation is save your money and stay somewhere else.
