We stayed in this resort for one evening, as we were leaving for a cruise the next day. So glad we only had to stay here one night. The entire lobby, elevator, and hallways smelled like urine, and had the sticky flooring to match. There was NO gluten free dining options, which I understand- but there was no ability to have a microwave brought to our room which has literally been accommodated at a holiday inn and other much lower classification of hotels. Not to mention, we had to use the “common area” microwave which was dirty, and disgusting. This microwave was literally in the middle of all of the clubs and people walking by, as it was the only area and option to heat up my gluten free frozen dinner that I had to get delivered through Ubereats…otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to eat. I then had to take it into the elevator and walk through the urine smelling hallways with my food- simply disgusting and embarrassing. The club downstairs was so loud you could hardly talk to the front staff, and when we asked for plastic utensils from the bar (the receptionist told us they’d provide all cutlery and plates and napkins), the bartender (who was not busy) did not say a word, not even a hello and very rudely threw down a plastic spoon and a knife on the dirty bar. No plates, no napkins or forks, and no common courtesy for paying guests at this allegedly nice resort. The room was average, no real complaints or complements, but everything else was very disappointing.
