Killyrudden is a three storied hillside home built on the side of an old (extinct) volcano known locally as Mount Paku, just inside the entrance to Tairua Harbour. We are a Qualmark 4 Star rated establishment and our premises reflect this with well appointed and tastefully decorated rooms and with many added features such as robes and slippers, toiletries, hairdryers and writing facilities. The spa pool is offered as an amenity for the enjoyment of guests to share. It has a clear roof to watch the stars and side blinds to roll up to enjoy the view or roll down for all weather comfort. Laundry washing is offered as a free service. From all rooms your view takes in the ever-changing tidal patterns of the harbour up to the volcanic peaks of the skyline. The rooms open onto elevated decks from where guests may enjoy dramatic sights as the sun sets behind "The Pinnacles". We have three guest rooms. Two double rooms, with queen-sized beds are adjoining, each with its own ensuite. French doors open onto a deck adjoining the spa pool area.
