The Last Resort was hand built by entrepreneurial locals and first opened for business in 1992.
Located in the heart of Karamea, amongst beautiful native gardens.
The Last Resort offers a range of accommodation options including bunk rooms, lodge rooms, lodge ensuite rooms, studio units and two bedroom units.
The fully licensed restaurant and bar facilites are open year round from 7.30am until late for coffee snacks and all meal requirements.
The Last Resort is a relaxing retreat, a perfect setting to unwind in, away from the stresses of city life. The resort, largely hand-built, is a comfortable and moderately priced tourist complex.
