A lovingly restored and converted barn, consisting of open plan kitchen diner and living room, mezzanine and bedroom.
Can sleep 4 people in one double, 2 singles , plus a bed settee if needed for 5 people.
There is also a travel cot available .

Walk in level access shower with lovely stone sink. Fully equipped kitchen, bedding and towels provided.
Furnished and decorated in authentic French rural style buy artist host. Patio doors to outdoor seating area, and private plunge pool. (Above ground pool making it safe for children)
Forest walks very close by and uninterrupted views of the glorious night sky; as there is no light pollution you can see the Milky Way and many constellations.
Ideally situated for exploring Dordogne/Limousin, lots of great days out or activities such as canoeing, walks, cycling, swimming, and fishing.
Own transport required unless you want a total retreat in which case we can help with airport transfers.
Airports served by - Bergerac or Limoges. rain stations - Angouleme, Thiviers or Agonac. Bus from Brantome to Perigueux, the capital of the Dordogne.
Owners live in separate building and can arrange French lessons, yoga, holistic therapies, art classes if required., advance booking required
There are no bars or nightlife on the door step but if you want a complete break from the hustle and bustle, if you want to be revitalised by nature, then this is for you. Please note no animals cats or dogs.only guide dogs for the blind please.

Een sfeervol huisje

Wij hebben een leuke vakantie gehad in een geweldig huisje het enige wat minder was zijn de veren die wij door het matras heen voelden die eigenlijk aan vervanging toe is en iets meer privacy van Keith maar verder top

un peu decevant

Nous avons eu un très bel accueil, les hotes etaient charmants et à l'ecoute cependant le logement etait un peu decevant... très rudimentaire! un canapé lit peu confortable; lits petits, frigidaire petit pour 5 personnes...l’éclairage un peu juste surtout en soirée et lors des journées pluvieuses! la piscine a été une bonne surprise plus grande que ce que l'on attendait!

Sejour idyllique

Gite très propre, renové avec goût, nous y avons passé une excellente semaine. Petite piscine hors sol idéale pour se rafraîchir, cadre extrêmement calme au milieu des champs et forêt, un cadre apaisant et bucolique qui nous a ressourcé petits et grands. Brantôme est magnifique, les visites et activités alentours ne manquent pas, et les hôtes Julia et Keith sont très gentils et accueillants. Merci pour tout, nous avons grandement apprécié nos vacances !
