This stunning Château in beautiful grounds has been renovated to a very high standard, fully respecting its great age. Attention to detail is evident everywhere. The owners were delightful, and could not have been more accommodating. The bedrooms are simply amazing and the whole property is testament to the talent of all those involved. Ask to watch the 13 minute presentation of the restoration which demonstrates the enormity of the project and the great care taken with it. Highly recommended.

Arrêtez-vous y quelques jours pour vous ressourcer

Très bonne localisation pour visiter la région , pratiquer divers sports et faire des randonnées. Accueil très agréable des hôtes qui nous permis de vivre une belle expérience.On conseille vivement le château de Picomtal qui vaut la peine qu’on s’y arrête quelques jours.

Upplev ett riktigt franskt slott i Alperna

Underbart boende på ett riktigt franskt slott från 1600-talet! Hela slottet var i toppskick, där värdparet har lagt sin själ i att renovera slottet till en B&B. Vi bodde i rummet Louis XVI, ett stort ljust rum med stora franska fönster mot den vackra trädgården. Frukosten var god med bland annat hemmagjord sylt och gott kaffe. Värdparet var sociala och hjälpte gärna till med förslag på vad man kunde göra i närområdet. Vi vandrade i bergen, besökte klostret (från 1200-talet), tittade på marknaden i Embrun, och åt gott på Le Peupliers. Vi gillade stället så mycket att vi kommer bo ytterligare en natt där på vår tillbakaresa.
