Le Dune Residence is located in Santa Maria del Focallo, in a strategic position to combine a beach holiday in a Baroque setting, in fact the most important UNESCO world heritage cities are easily reachable, such as: Noto, Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli

Other sites in the vicinity are Pozzallo, Portopalo di Capo Passero and Marzamemi, the three most southern points of Italy and the sunniest, renowned for the excellent wineries and fish products.

Santa Maria del Focallo is Blue Flag FEE and Green Flag from 2008 to 2016, clean sea and beach suitable for new mothers or families with small children who want to start making the first strokes without the danger of deep or unsafe water.

The beach was nice. It was difficult to get to. You had to walk a distance on a very busy street with no sidewalks. Nothing was in walking distance ie. Grocery stores, restaurants. Definitely need a vehicle to get around. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. I do have a major issue that has not been resolved. That has left a very bad impression of the host/owner.
