The chalet's location is close to skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, fishing, swimming, and other water sports, shopping, dining, sporting, and cultural attractions. Each summer, the Ironman competition passes right through our town of Wilmington!

The list of activities at this vacation home is endless. Whether you're visiting for a quick getaway, extended stay, or special event, Whiteface Mountain Chalet will keep you relaxed and ready for adventure!

Whiteface Mountain Chalet sleeps 14 people. There are 6 bedrooms, 5 with king beds and 1 with a queen bed and 1 queen-sized foam mattresses.

The two spacious upper-level ensuite master bedrooms boast king beds and generous closet space to unpack your belongings. A third large ensuite master bedroom with a king bed is conveniently located on the main level. Also upstairs is bedroom 4 with a queen bed.

Downstairs, bedrooms 5 and 6 each have king beds and their own entrance for extra privacy, light, and easy outdoor access.

All bedrooms boast flat-screen televisions, ceiling fans, warm color schemes, and comfy linens. A pack n play is provided for your convenience. All linens are included.

There are four full bathrooms plus a half bathroom at Whiteface Mountain Chalet. 2 master bathrooms are located on the upper level, and 1 master bathroom is on the home's main level. Each offers oversized custom tile showers. The lower-level bathroom has a large shower and relaxing Finlandian dry sauna, perfect for sore muscles and health! The half bath is conveniently located on the main level.

The open-plan living room kitchen at Whiteface Mountain Chalet is the perfect place for entertaining and spending quality time with family and friends. The living area offers comfortable couches, flat-screen television with basic channels, surround sound, and an easy-on gas fireplace.

Our kitchen is a chef's dream! With expansive granite countertops and a full complement of tools and appliances, you'll enjoy preparing fantastic meals for the entire crew! Stools around the table bar area enable your group to eat and gather together. Wireless internet plus local phone calling (USA only) is conveniently provided. Long-distance calls are not included. However, you may use applicable apps over Wi-Fi for long-distance or video calls.

The outdoor living space at Whiteface Mountain Chalet is sure to please you with fantastic amenities to help you maximize your vacation enjoyment. Views from the oversized deck are lovely. The deck contains a 5-person hot tub, dining table, and chairs. The yard offers plenty of room for playing and enjoying the great outdoors and a fire pit for making smores and memories with family and friends.

For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th, we are pleased to provide the main and upper-level bedrooms and the living room with air conditioning units.

The following items are minimally supplied (only enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, and bath soap. Linens are provided, including bedsheets, washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We do not supply kitchen spices, condiments, beach towels, hand towels, shampoo, body soaps, or charcoal.

The location of Whiteface Mountain Chalet is perfect for couples, families, adventurers, nature lovers, shoppers, foodies, and everyone else!

The home is ideally situated just 1.4 miles from Whiteface Mountain Resort, a 15-minute drive from Lake Placid, and steps from hiking trails ranging from relaxed walking/beginner trails to hard climbs/expert trails. Be sure to visit the beautiful Wilmington Flume, a 2-minute drive from the chalet. Close to Lake Everest in Wilmington, which has a beach, boat rentals, kayaking, picnic area, playground, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, paddle boarding, ice skating, and so much more!

Lake Placid is a charming, all-season resort town with a Main Street, unique, locally-owned shops, loads of dining options, sporting and cultural events, a movie theatre, mini-golf, and a waterfront park where live music is featured weekly during summer. The town also has supermarkets, delis, and other conveniences.

Our homes are located near each other, and some are on the same street, making our homes the perfect getaway for family gatherings, reunions, or lodging for small corporate events.

Whiteface Mountain Chalet is kept clean, and the owners and rental team take tremendous pride in ensuring that it is perfect for each guest's vacation. Our handyman service is on call 24 hours a day for any issue during your stay.

Select USA & Canadian holidays are subject to a 3 to 5-night minimum stay, otherwise there is a 2-night minimum stay. Pricing includes nightly rent, cleaning fee, Damage Protection Policy fee, and 5% Essex County bed tax. The Damage Protection fee covers accidental damage to furniture, appliances, electronic devices, windows, doors, and any home resource up to $1,500. If damages exceed, $1,500, guests agree to cover the difference.
