The farmhouse sits on the England/Wales border, 3 miles from picturesque Malpas, where you’ll find shops, traditional village pubs, a fine 14th century church, and the remains of a Norman castle. Explore the bustling market town of Whitchurch (7 miles) with its splendid medieval and Tudor buildings and see the magnificent gardens at 19th century Cholmondeley Castle (8.5 miles). For all-round family fun, Bewilderwood is a must, with a treetop Sky Maze, den building and storytelling stage, while Alderford Lake promises a wealth of outdoor activities, with scenic walking trails, water sports and an Aquapark. Both are within 9 miles. Carden Park Estate is nearby with its Championship Golf Courses, Outdoor Pursuits Centre and Luxury Spa facilities, great for groups and family activities during stay or for corporate team building stays.
