Welcome to the Residences at Fairwinds Landing, located at the marina in Nanoose Bay. Once known as the Schooner Cove Hotel, this ocean front building has been completely reimagined to offer contemporary, condo-style, short term vacation rentals. This street facing suite offers modern sophistication with a bright, open floor plan, floor to ceiling windows, contemporary furniture, hotel inspired linens, and a patio. This suite is ideal for family and friend getaways and romantic retreats.
Suite 207 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, condo-style suite that features an open concept layout with contemporary furnishings and décor. This suite has a large living room with floor to ceiling windows that fill the suite with natural light. The patio is the located off the living room and is furnished with modern outdoor furniture. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a private ensuite with heated floors and an enclosed glass shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and is adjacent to the three piece bathroom and in-suite washer/dryer. Each bedroom features an organic cotton mattress and hotel inspired linens. Both bathrooms have complimentary eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and have a hair dryer and white cotton towels for guests to use. The kitchen has a designated dining area with a table and chairs and the kitchen is fully equipped with standard sized appliances, microwave, toaster, a Keurig coffee machine, cookware, utensils, plates and glassware to ensure guests feel at home during their stay.

Very nice and very quiet
Very well equipped…only two concerns…it takes a while for water to get hot…a personal preference would be a hand held shower head instead of the just a rain shower.
This could be a nice setup for a family or two couples.
Loved being down by the water😊. Kitchen is stocked minimally, no foil, ziplock bags, not even a whisk, etc. No ac in the second bedroom and no windows to open, very stuffy, exposed pipes above the closet in the second bedroom.
The property was well appointed with good quailty kitchen appliances and equipment. Lots of room. However the mid century modern furniture in the lounge was not comfortable for sitting. Thank goodness for pillows. The large windows were good for light however the blinds in the main bedroom let in too much artifical light at night. Had to sleep in the 2nd bedroom.
For anyone who doesn't know the area you are a good 15mins outside Parksville along a lovely twisting road. The property faces on to the car park. The main TV wasn't working properly and the wi-fi was intermittent. We loved eating at the Rocking Horse pub.

Unfortunately I didn’t actually get to stay here as we were affected by the wildfire evacuations in the okanagan.
But they were excellent to deal with. Very understanding and helpful with the situation.
They were willing to work with me to compensate my family in a fair to both parties solution.
Would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

Unpleasant stay
We decided to leave today (a day early)as the condo was unbearably hot and a complete disappointment. The condo was at least 10 degrees hotter than outside and made for a very uncomfortable stay. We would not stay here again.
Wonderful place to stay. Lots of room, well stocked kitchen (there was no cutting board, however). Lovely patio to sit on and enjoy the early spring sunshine. We had dinner at the nearby Rusted Rake Brewery which was very good.

Just really enjoyed our stay in this nice roomy suite. Nice and quiet and property management staff were excellent. Will definitely be back.
