Marshmere - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 6

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday on The Broads, then Marshmere may be just the spot for you.  The owners have included many thoughtful touches to welcome you and help you to enjoy your stay such as an additional freezer for fishing bait, TV/DVD players in all bedrooms.  The sleeping accommodation of three bedrooms is on the ground floor and the living accommodation on the first floor takes advantage of lovely views out across the water within the marina, either from the comfortable sitting area or, on sunny days, from the balcony. There are numerous water based activities and lovely walks on the doorstep, Horning has a good pub, village shop and a great fish and chip shop too. The bustling village of Wroxham is nearby, as is the east coast with its long stretches of sandy beaches that are often quite empty, even in the summer.  Happy to accept dogs, Marshmere makes a lovely holiday home for all the family to enjoy.

A really nice house, spacious and bright. Superb location. It would be helpful if the switches in kitchen and hall had an explanation as to what each was for. The en-suite shower enclosure needs upgrading and taps in both bathrooms need to be descaled. The en- Suite shower was so difficult to stop it dripping we used the shower in the main bathroom after the first day’s stay.

Needs upgrading, especially shower in main en-suite.

Dishwasher not working. No clothes dryer. Shower head clogged with limescale. Cobwebs galore in entrance.
