Friendly Check in and went to room. Room Was extremely cold. Heater was unplugged. Electrical outlet where heater would be plugged in was blackened as if there may have been an electrical short. Additionally there was an outside door to the room that was winterized (interior door handle removed). We were very uncomfortable with that. We Requested another room. Transferred to suite on 3rd floor that faces interstate 80. Was extremely noisy all night from trucks. Struggled to get any sleep. Bathroom sink had the warm water turned off for some reason. If you want to get any sleep, Don’t stay on the interstate side. Disappointing because we have stayed at other AmericINNs and have been very satisfied.
Great stop on the way to Denver with Tesla Supercharger as a bonus.

Walk in handicap shower that left half the floor wet. The highway sounded like it was in the same room. Noisy all night. Tight parking in the back only.
