Travellers are picked up from their Marrakech hotel and driven 40 minutes to the Agafay Desert, with the Atlas Mountains rising on the horizon throughout the journey. On the way, a stop at a women's Argan Oil Cooperative offers mint tea, fresh bread, and a look at traditional oil production by hand. At the desert camp, travellers dress in a traditional Moroccan Saharan outfit before a guided camel ride across the open rocky plateau. Afterwards, the camp swimming pool is theirs to enjoy at their own pace. Morning travellers then sit down to a traditional Moroccan lunch — harira, tagine, bread, and mint tea — before returning to Marrakech by 3:00 PM. Evening travellers stay on as the desert comes alive — a Moroccan dinner served in a lantern-lit Berber tent, live traditional music, and a fire show under the open desert sky before returning to Marrakech around 10:00 PM.
