Description

Known as the world’s largest outdoor museum, Ancient Siam is a walk into the history books of Thailand. Covering over 320 hectares of land, the city contains 116 structures of Thailand’s most famous monuments and architectural insights. The layout has been constructed to replicate the entire Thai Kingdom in its correct geographic position with life-size structures and scaled down buildings each telling a different story about Thai culture. A tour of Ancient Siam is a one day introduction to a glorious country- so you can choose which part of Thailand you’d like to explore in depth once you’ve seen the replicas at Ancient Siam.

Some of the most outstanding replicas at Ancient Siam include the former Grand Palace of Ayutthaya, the original was destroyed in the Burmese invasion of 1767 and the Wat Khao Phra Viharn which is actually on the Cambodian border. If you need a break from the invasion of history, there are many picturesque places in Ancient Siam to to sit back, take a moment and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.

A relaxing walk or a bicycle ride through Ancient Siam will leave you with an appreciation of gorgeous Thai architecture and an understanding of the timeless customs and culture that ensure you have experienced and imbibed Thailand in the best way possible.

Countless hours have been spent on perfecting every minute detail of an era gone by in the inspiring architectural structures that greet you at Ancient Siam.
